The West Coast Remedy is founded and led by Dr. Bernhard Tagwerker — an Austrian drummer, percussionist, and emergency physician based in the greater Los Angeles area.
Born and raised in Vienna, Austria — the world capital of musical tradition — Bernhard transpires that heritage into every performance. As a graduate of the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, he brings a west coast vibe and carries over 15 years of international experience across California, Austria, and Brazil.
All band members hold professional music degrees and bring deep experience across jazz, R&B, pop, and world music — creating a sound that is polished, alive, and adaptable to any atmosphere.
